This series of laminated, articulated dolls, are the first in a series of Art Toys. The images are copies of the original dolls which are painted with acrylic paint on illustration board. While they share characteristics with friends and family members, they are not in any way meant to be exact resemblances. They all come with instructions for assembly and a basic (well for a DITZY DOLLY AND FREAKY FIEND the clothes are basic) wardrobe. There are also instructions and ideas for creating your own additional wardrobe and accessories. Your imagination is the limit. Each DOLLY and FIEND is unique. Their clothing is not interchangeable. It is important to me that each doll is designed by hand from scratch and not from a pattern. Therein lies their individuality. It is important to me as an Art Educator, that these dolls inspire your creativity. I have enclosed suggestions and instructions for designing your own wardrobe for your DOLLY or FIEND. I will be happy to help you out by answering any questions you may have.

These are the original painted dolls and creatures mounted on a painted canvas. They are removable from their perches on the paintings to facilitate play. They are packaged with the original hand colored clothing in a unique "dresser drawer" style frame or in clear hand sewn bags. As with all DITZY DOLLIES and FREAKY FIENDS, feel free to design your own unique wardrobe and accessories.

Both Fine Art and laminated DOLLIES and FIENDS are available as a commission.
